Dickensian Market and Christmas Open Evening

Members of OTT participated in this event in Castle Park, Colchester. OTT's stall sported hand-made cards, christmas decorations, textile wreaths, artwork, accessories, notebooks and many other items, all, of course, handmade by members.
The evening was very cold and, at times, raining, but spirits were very high. The stall looked wonderful, despite the badly lit site.....
Many commendations are due to all those who provided equipment, set up the stall, and manned it through the evening. Especial thanks to Karen and Chris Bonnett who worked from beginning to end and took the trouble to appear in costume. Chris Bonnett's disguise as Father Christmas was so successful that at least one person thought she had approached the wrong stall!
It has also become known that Chris, aka Father Christmas, made many promises she can not fulfil - to children waiting in the queue to see the real Father Christmas
