Exhibition at the Events Barn RHS Hyde Hall Gardens
02 Textiles (OTT)'s latest exhibition has just closed in the Events Barn at Hyde Hall, the RHS gardens at Rettendon near Chelmsford. This exhibition was full of exciting and colourful textile work, and featured 02 Textiles usual group project, this year entitled "Sitting on the Fence".
The exhibition also featured a tribute to Zöe Cox, a member of our group and a special friend who passed away earlier this year. Zöe had already made one piece for the exhibition, a butterfly, and in tribute to her, every member of the group also made at least one butterfly which forms a second group exhibit at the exhibition.
The exhibition included a shop area selling cards, portfolio pieces, brooches, necklaces and much more.
Some of the artists were also on hand each day to answer any questions.
This exhibition of exciting and colourful textile work ran until September 27th. inclusive
Open: 10 a.m. & 5 p.m.
Cost: Entrance to the Exhibition is free but normal Hyde Hall Garden admission charges apply to the Site -
RHS members - FREE,
(Note: Last entrance to the Gardens is at 5 p.m.)
Cash & Cheques were welcome, but there were no credit card facilities.
