"Beach Huts III"
Margaret has done dressmaking and has made knitted garments most of her adult life. She has always enjoyed embroidery, but in the 1970s, she began primary school teaching, where she became interested in teaching simple free-machine embroidery and hand stitching for children to illustrate their topics.
Following retirement, she obtained City and Guilds in Creative Embroidery 1 and studied part 2. She takes her inspiration from the shapes and colours of flowers in their environment.
